These are from the new Audi A7 Sportback. I have said it before, but I really wish our Saddle interior was a couple shades darker, with a more "weathered" leather look, like real horse saddles or the King Ranch trucks' leather. This would be perfect, IMO and these seats even have a similar 401A stripe down the middle. I'll shop a "Cashmere stripe" in later tonight. What do you think? Are you listening Ford??

That being said, I think I'm over the Saddle interior. I was all about it last year, but I'm really stuck on the Brick Red interior these days. I hope Ford adds more interior color options for 2012, as they did with the later 05-09 cars.

I was considering the red, but having a red rim steering wheel was silly to me.
Why would they do that????? Had they allowed me to order it with a normal black steering wheel, I'd of gotten the red.

I would install a GT500 wheel, e-brake boot and shifter boot upon delivery. In any 2010-11 car...
And obviously it's not a 401A Mustang interior. Really? My point was the seats look similar in design/color, but I like the darker color better and the seats look like they have a weathered look to them. I still like the Mustang Saddle leather, but it looks too orange to me now. Too..."perfect". I want it to look like a horse saddle!

Yes, I never thought that was a mustang interior, I clearly saw it was Audi.
BMW has at least too different shades of "brown" interior too. In the sedan it looks darker brown and in the coupes more orangish brown.
They are both fine to me, adds contrast. All black interiors are deathly dreary to me and light colored interiors get dirty too easily.

Haha hey, isn't that..."eh", eh? And driver yeah I knew you were talking about BMWs, I was referring to Falchion. I think my sarcasm radar had a hiccup or something
...
Yeah I like the BMW and Audi offerings. Their leather colors are much richer looking and the grain looks (obviously) more upscale. I was in love with the Saddle interior when I first saw it, as I too an over all black interiors, but the more I look at Brick Red, the more it's taking over Saddle for my favorite interior color.

Ford does offer a more "saddle" color, it's in the King Ranch F-Series. Personally I like the saddle in the Mustang to offset the interior from a luxo-barge or Toyota-esque vehicle. When I saw the pic of the Audi interior I just thought boring and sedan. Nothing sexy about it.
I think you guys might be looking for a Lincoln. Enjoy!

Read my OP. I want the King Ranch leather in my Mustang. It looks like real saddle leather and, IMO, fits the personality of the car perfectly. I still like the current Saddle, but the quality of leather leaves something to be desired.

I agree the KR leather would be very well suited in the Mustang. As I don't really agree that the current color is very "saddle" like and it could certainly use a real saddle look to it as it is a Mustang. No disagreement there.
Quality could still use an upgrade, yes.
This could be an interior color for the Mustang, yes!

Edit: Embroider or patch a "new" Mustang logo into the seats.
Possibly...:

Haha that there saddle actually looks very close in color to the current offering. Honestly, the color is okay, as long as they used a different kind of leather. The Brick Red 401A leather, in Saddle color would be perfect.
