What Do You All Think of the California PopTop?

I have the security to park my car at work with the top down, but I don't like the idea of the UV's cooking my 401A leather all day. On top of that we have a feral cat out there that I've seen jumping in/out of pickup truck beds, so the last thing I need is some cat pee or turds to take home with me in the back seat.

SO, I've been shopping some sort of little cockpit cover that I can quickly put on/off the car without cycling the top unnecessarily. Then I found the California PopTop. Seems like it would also cover the black when my top is up and keep it cooler then too. So it's just as good for coupe owners as 'verts. And cheaper then the other similar solutions I've seen out there.

Anyone else try these yet, or have experience with them? I ordered mine today.

looks pretty cool to me. I think Ford offered something similar as an accessory when I had bought my 92 vert new.

Most car thieves don't like to mess with car covers.

What you cant see you cant covet. Kinda like the that stupid cover you get with SUV's that always breaks in two days.

But for Double D use it looks perfect.

It hides things that may be left in the car - you'd have to lift the cover to see if there was something to grab. Without it, see it, take it. Much faster.

Yeah, I think it's mostly a "keeping the honest people honest" kind of thing. Out-of-sight, out of mind. Other than that, it wouldn't slow anybody down much.

OK, OK..... I'm not an English major, but I think that the anti-theft feature of the PopTop refers to the PopTop itself.

I like it. If i had to park in the hot sun all day, having this would be nice. I don't need one because my Mustang is only in the hot sun when i go shopping.
