If you can hold off a bit on the side splitters ......I am going to be selling my ROUSH Side splitters in a month or two cause Im upgrading to the CF ones. I can let you know when I have mine available. I had hoped to get $80 + shipping for them.

Then you could get the Airaid now and Side splitters for cheap later

Im also selling these Custom painted Plenum/Coil covers now for $199 + shipping:
They have the Chrome "Powered by Ford" letter inserts....and the Silver part is painted to look like brushed alluminum.

Hey, I might go with the airraid intake I will try to pm you or call you so we can set things up.

 

Intake air temps will go up even with a heat shield! Mine was reading 110F this morning driving to work with the Steeda CAI. It was about 75 degrees outside.

Can some AirRaid users chime in?

I thought AirRaid still used the stock fresh air inlet?

 

yeah, pretty much all of them are going to have high IATs when sitting in traffic. even the stock box i think creeps up to around 115. that was the highest I've seen out of it. My JLT will easily crack 140 sitting in traffic long enough not moving. But I think that's sort of an extreme scenario. Not too many cities in the US have the **** traffic Washington DC has, even on the Beltway.

 

Even the stock air box will show higher temps sitting in traffic on a hot day. I have the Fog Lights removed on my car and a cowl hood...so the air flows pretty darn good over the airaid filter when moving!
