I might look around for some quotes. Spoiler should be easy to remove. There's no adhesive. Mine came precut in a kit though. Not sure if or how that would make difference.
My stripe attempt fail taught me that certain things are best left to pros. I watched the process today...the installer and a helper just attacked my car. They eyeballed the centerline and got the stripe dead center on the first shot. No painters tape was used to mask anything. They installed them dry, no spray bottles, and what miniscule amounts of bubbles that appeared were smoothed out using his fingers. The boss was laying my stripes, taking phone calls, shouting orders to the helper, and BS-ing with me the whole time, and got it done in 2 hours on the nose.
Here's a tip...remove your spoiler if you're able...the deck panel too...and the GPS antenna while you're at it. That way the installer can hide his seams and cuts under the parts. My guy really appreciated the extra effort.

Washed and waxed it!
Then removed my sound tube! (Not needed extra clutter)

Yeah, right. It was pretty messy from stripe day yesterday, mainly from the solvents the striper used to remove the old wax, polishes, and sealants. As soon as I put soap on it, all the old wax jizz made itself known. It was ugly and sticky. Ended up compounding the entire car by hand. Why stop there? Tires, wheels, plastic trim, engine bay, trunk, leather. I'm too tired now to drive it.
It looks amazing after just a compounding.

I had cancelled my order for the SVE Drifts last weekend and ordered the new Dark Stainless AMR's instead. Picked them up from the US border this morning. They look good, but a fair bit darker than the SVE's. But I do like that they're staggered, as that's what I really wanted. They'll go on the car this week.

Pouring rain here again....it has rained some everyday for 8 days now - my car has never been this dirty.
Thank goodness for a garage....I changed the oil today. I went with Motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic blend oil this time to see if the post-oil change tick shows up. I normally use Mobile 1. Also went the usual Motorcraft oil filter and swapped out the dirty Steeda CAI air filter with a clean/oiled one I had ready on the shelf.

The DS AMR's look more like a high gloss gunmetal color, but that's under the soft white LED bulbs in my garage. I want to get them on the car though to properly assess the color in different lighting. I will say that when I opened the box and took the cover off, my initial gut reaction was "Wow!"
