With help from my bud Marcus we installed the BMR LCA relocation brackets on my GT500. The passenger side took about and hour to install and the drivers side took about 15 mins. It literally slid right into place with everything lining up perfect. The LCA's now point slightly up towards the front of the car instead of down like before. The top position worked out perfect. Gotta wait for the rain to stop so I can road test it.

Lol. Usually I just do the work in my parking stall. But on the weekends it's always quiet so I use the handicap stalls at the end. (this also doubles as the wash bay)
Better lighting too.

Did you need to massage the passenger side a lil bit?

Just a bit. Nothing to major. Just had to reef on the axle a bit to line everything up. Everything bolted up perfect after that.
The bracket was a little to tight to fit the gold sleeve into. But a couple days ago I rigged up an expander using a carriage bolt(see photo) and was able to relax it enough so it slid right in. The bolt at the very top needed a little help from an awl to help line it up. Always a good idea to check things out on the parts before installing them and double check all your bolt torques. Very pleased with the fit and finish.

Yesterday I got some quotes on my P-51 theme vinyl. The shop in town is quickly becoming one of the go-to shops in the area for vinyl wraps, and the owner is very much on board with my ideas. He wants to go all out and have me bring the car to some shows with them. I'm hoping it'll all come together by the end of Spring!

Really looking forward to this one, Mustang take really well to this type of treatment. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Any mockups yet?

I'll be replacing the panhard bar at the same time to no issues there.

No mockups, it's all in my head haha. But the front and rear ends will be OD Green with a SBY pinstripe, invasion stripes on the rear 1/4 panels and BMW/Mercedes "kills" instead of swastikas...

Installed the blowfish racing shifter bracket. A lot more vibration thru the shifter but definitely a lot more precise and no more high rpm lockout!

Started my 2014 Shelby and moved it about 100 feet from front of house to garage. Turned off car and closed garage door. Got out and heard loud humming sound like something was running. I put my ear to the exhaust area and what ever it was it became louder the closer I got to the pipes. Does anyone have a clue what could have been on. I opened the door put the key in and started it. Waited about ten seconds and turned it off. It has never made that sound before or after I ran it for those few seconds. Does anyone have a guess at what could have been running?

I thought that it might be the fuel pumps but why would they run after the car is shut off and the key removed from the car?
