What can you guys tell me about this car?
I'm not the best educated guesser when it comes to cars considering I thought this thing would be $40,000 and have 400hp, I scroll down to see it's going to have more than 500hp.

How much do you guys think this thing is going to cost?
What kind of options do you think is going to be in it?
And another question... Since this car is probably going to be way up their with the Mustang Cobras and all that jazz will it be possible to trick it out? I really don't see what I could do to this car to make it better, but I only came across maybe two aftermarket cobra parts browsing the internet.

It is a concept..and not a production car at all.
It uses FRPP parts on a modified 2005 (super charger etc)
You will not be able to buy one.
You will see some styling cues/design DNA from this car in the 2010 more than likely. (hips, more aggressive front end)
But think of it like a Mach3 concept for the 94 Mustang.
Almost no resemblence.

Wonder if the glassback will? If it does well as an option on the 2009 maybe it will be an option on the 2010.... we'll have to wait and see

Amen to that. (the resemblence thing). Here's the thing I've noticed with Mustang concepts (at least with the Mach III and the 05). They developed the design of the production car first and then dreamt up the concept car to tantalyze the public. In both cases, the concept was more agressive and rediculous, but the production car was definitely better looking. I for one prefer the front end on the production GT over the concept or...dare I say it...the GT500. THOUGH MARK MY WORDS...IF AND WHEN THEY RELEASE AN OFFICIAL CONCEPT FOR THE '09/'10, IT WILL HAVE A SUPERCHARGER. THEY ALWAYS DO.

Just sayin' is all
We'll probably see a 2009 Mach/Boss concept/production at the NAIAS this year in Detroit, with the new F-150.
And if all signs point to a launch of the '010 Stang in the early part of 2009... time is short for a concept let alone a production version.
Interesting to see how this plays out. (especially since this will be year 3 of autoshows with a Camaro concept and no production car in sight)

This is just a hunch, but I don't think the glassback will make it to production. The bean counters will look at it as something to take sales away from the convertible. This is also part of the reason why we havent seen t-tops or a sunroof in a Mustang since 93'. Just my .02

From the front the body looks good. Those taillights SUCK ... They should either do a 69-70 style rear or a 71-73 style rear, IMO.
The rear MUST be changed regardless.
