I'm curious how much of a change the aftermarket fabs will make to the front fascia. I think that bothers people more than just about anything. I think after 2-3 years of feedback, it will change in appearance subtly and will be redesigned cosmetically in '19 or '20 to fit more with what people will spend their money on. I still haven't seen one in person and it's the stuff under the surface that I care more about. I won't buy a first-year new model anyway; I'd rather let them get the kinks worked out first, so the things Brian mentioned like the bladder placement will be adjusted as they have the time. It's not as big an issue for me because these are performance cars as far as I'm concerned and the interior doesn't matter all that much--again, to me. I am glad to hear, though, that Ford did some serious work on upgrading the materials for the interior for others. No telling how many people the plastic paneling and cladding turned off with the S197.

Just got mine Yellows installed and took Eleanor through some twisty's. I can say that these Koni yellows are the best shocks/struts ive ever had. They are very smooth on the softest setting "wife approves" while on the firm setting they are absolutely track ready! The only thing that killed me was the "back order" but for $619 shipped i feel like i stole them ;-)

IRS or not, it is still a Fustang. I'll keep my 2010's and be very happy.

Another happy 2014 mustang owner!!! The added expense for a 2015 eco 4, they can keep it.

I have wanted and tried to like the looks of the new 2015 but it just doesn't do it for me. The front end with the smaller squinty headlights and wide grille just seems off. The 13-14 S197 front end on the other hand has a handsome proportionate look to it. So the looks alone are the deal breaker for me. If I don't think it looks cool it's not for me

I considered getting a 2015 4 banger as a second stang but was waiting for official pricing. I figured the car would be pretty unique. However Ford gave me a hardy double middle finger salute by pricing a fully loaded 4 at 37K. Now that early reviews are in I remain very happy with my 2013 thank you very much.

I'm very glad I picked up the 2014. I just fail to understand why Ford thought it was necessary to make the 2015 Mustang look like all the other cars in the Ford lineup with that ugly front end design language. Were they afraid that people wouldn't know it was a Mustang? This is what happens when clueless corporate executives make decisions about the look of a car. The Mustang is a brand unto itself, it didn't need help from the other cars in the Ford stable and it sure didn't need the help that it got because it didn't come off well at all.

Now it's come out that the performance of the new car really isn't a noticeable improvement over the 2014. With respect to the entry level Mustang, not only is the performance the same but you also get to pay more money for it and if you want to get the "as advertised" performance you have to use 93 octane. This is not a good deal in my opinion. Yes I'm more glad than ever that I went with the 2014 because to me the 2015 has been something of a let down.

I too, will have to suffer with my 2013 Mustang for many years to come...

No regrets. I made a conscious decision to order mine rather than wait for the 2015 and I have been very happy with it. I've run autocross with mine and I suspect that most people would not be able to drive the 2015 IRS faster than the 2014.

For me its simple, I ordered my 2013, 2 days after order banks opened, and as the 2015 didn't exist yet nor no leaked info or spy shots of next car for some time, then there is no point for me to get all " ahhh maybe should of waited".
Personally, If I have waited till now my choice would not be the 2015 mustang, but a Sublime 2015 Challenger Scat Pack.

I prefer my car. Why? Because it actually looks like a muscle car. This new fusion crap is not doing it for me. Maybe i change my mind in years to come, but for now i'll enjoy kickin it with the classic, muscular look.

Great feedback!

I'm consciously trying to avoid reacting out of the sense of loyalty that I have developed for my 2011...but there is a good reason why I have grown so attached to that car and reading the luke warm reiews honestly gave me a sense of relief.

That said, I think I agree with the folks pointing out the huge potential of the S550. The looks are nearly as appealing as the 2010-2012 cars IMO and equal to the '13-'14 cars to my eye. They all have angles that are amazing and angles that are derpy.

I'm still pretty sure that the S550 is a superior car but so far, it's not proving to be superior enough to tug on my wallet. A paid for 2011 GT is VASTLY more appealing than a financed 2015 GT in my book.

My test drive is scheduled for next weekend!

Should be fun, please let us know how your test drive went. Aside from the new style, I'm wondering if the engineering changes will make it a better driving machine right off the showroom floor?

I feel the same as I did when I decided to get the 2014 instead of the new 2015 FUSTANG. I do not like the design. It cast the same shadow of a Nissan Z car not a fan at all. Don't like the Dash very well Toyotaish in the way they laid it out. IRS was never a reason to by a car.

I really feel vindicated about he mileage figures. Drive line looses are more with IRS. I love to Drag race and Stop light to Stop light so Yea I made the right choice.

I am wiling to bet that the 2014 and old cars will be worth more in the future.

love my 13 - don't really like the 15. I test drove a 12 and almost got it, but when the 13's came out with the tail lights - that sold me... that being said, the rear of the 15 I just can get into, and the front is to generic ford - I will say the rendering of a gt350 here looks pretty sick and that might be a better look to me, but no, I will not be getting a 15... if I get another mustang it will be a 13 boss 302 (the one I almost bought but had 12k dealer mark up)... I think school bus yellow would look great next to gotta have it green in my garage...
