Weekend Mods 2.0 - GT500 Diffuser and Wing

Two last mods for the weekend. Have I mentioned how much I love this car? I am even embracing the unpainted trim (MARZ, I was wrong )

I was going to get the skirts and rear diaper painted, but backed out at the last minute because I was fearful the paint would not adhere for the long haul on the rear diffuser. Probably an unwarranted claim, but in the future I may go with the 3DCarbon rear diffuser that is very similar to the GT500 piece, but comes ready to paint.

Until then, the CDC decklid trim, faux-Gurney flap, and ROUSH chin spoiler tie all together nicely.

Thanks for looking! Next are JLT intake, tune, and Magnaflow axlebacks.

Also threw in a photo of what a wingless car would look like with the GT500 diffuser

That looks great! It's amazing how such mods can completely transform a car! I have a GT500 rear diffuser waiting for installation; I just need to get off my lazy ***. How difficult was the installation?

op nice car I think so far the gt500 wing matches the rear lines the best. Allthough I really like the rtr aluminum wing*thats what I'm waiting to buy&install*
Marz the gt500 diffuser is a piece of cake to install especially if you are mechanically inclined and for about 10-20 mins have someone else available to help you. I've swapped fascias myself in less than 45 mins and with another person under 30 mins.

why wouldnt the paint stick to the abs plastic stuff, the lovers on alot of the cars are abs.. as long as the guy doing it does it right.. shouldnt be an issue

Install was very easy! Just annoying at times since the bumper and diffuser are both very floppy, so you really need two sets of hands to avoid throwing it across the garage "Unskilled" labor as one of the sets of hands will be able to handle it too!

I've had several wingless Mustangs, but this one will not be one of them. Although it does look good sans spoiler, I prefer the ducktail look on verts.

Also, not going to fill and repaint the decklid of a car that just hit 2,000 miles, eek!

Looking great!!! I'm personally debating between the GT500's lower lip, or the 3d Carbon boy Racer lower rear lip (not the entire kit, just the rear lip from that kit)

3D500 Spoiler is pretty much a done deal (given decision) at this point though.
