Wednesay's teaser pic is early
Coming out of BMW's and PCars 5th was 1:1 while 6th was overdrive. That being said cars with a lot of low end torque don't really need the 6spd.
The 2010 site is still showing the padlock with tomorrows date, for me

My 1995 Firebird formula 5.7 with 6 speed turned 1800 rpm while driving in the 70 - 80 mph range, which was good fopr about 28 MPG on the highway.......give me a little lug if it means that good of gas mileage w/o cutting out half the engine.
I like it. I test drove a Bullitt at the same time I test drove my '08 GT, and I really liked the '08 Bullitt, but it just wasn't worth $5k more than my GT because there were no incentives on the Bullitt. I'll probably eventually add the Bullitt's shift **** and boot to my '08 GT.
I'm starting to think the reason for all the interior pics is that it is the main focus of this 2010 refresh. From all I have seen from the 2010 web sight and spy photos I don't think the restyle is all that dramatic. Perhaps even less dramatic than the 98-99 body change. Now with the same old 5 speed and same old 4.6..... I'm thinking i'm going to hold on for a current gen GT500
i am buying a camaro and growing my hair out......... only in the back!
