Visiting flat rock Michigan assembly line?

Does anyone have any information on visiting the flat rock Michigan assembly-line? I was told that you could actually go down and watch your car be made, can anyone on here confirm that this is true and if so how do I go about doing that. I have a brand-new 2014 GT on order and received my VIN number today, I would love to go down and watch my car be built.

Thanks to all

They occasionally give tours, but you can't watch your car being built like the Corvettes. Unless, something has changed in the last few years.....

They do offer a plant tour during the Mustang Alley events, leading up to the Woodward Dream Cruise, but I don't believe there is another way to tour it unless you know someone who works there and can go to the picnic they hold annually.

Hi guys,

There is only one plant available for touring and there is also the Henry Ford Museum. Here is the info for both:
ROUGE PLANT TOURS

Website: www.thehenryford.org OR www.hfmgv.org
Phone: 1-313-982-6001

The Ford Rouge Factory Tour is a five-part adventure where visitors can see how cutting-edge environmental practices and industrial innovation mesh to create one of the world's most enlightened and forward-looking factories.

The tours we have done in conjunction with the Woodward Cruise are not likely going to happen this year, as the dates would fall on top of the launch of the Fusion. However, we will be offering tours in the future, but there will be charges associated with the tours though. The new process should be in place by June.
