I, too, put one in my Focus ST and it was worth every penny. I went the extra mile though and put the "spring" back into the shifter for the reverse lockout "simulator". I sold the Focus ST a few years ago but it was great while I owned it.

Not sure I need one for my Mustang... the stock shifter is the best of any car I've owned.

I agree, the 2011 Mustang transmission feels much better then previous models. But with this shifter the throws are even shorter, but way more positive. The gear change feels great.

Just curious, what makes them feel more "positive" with this shifter? The shorter throws I get but based on the last Tri-Ax I had, I'm not sure I get that. Aren't we using the same transmission?

By eliminating some of the factory rubber pieces with harder delrin, it makes for a more positive feel. Call it notchy compare to the mushy factory feel.

Do you have a projected release date and price? I may need to delay my LCAs a bit longer and invest in this bad boy.

Will it be able to take the factory ****? I want the sleek look.

We will be running production mid Next Week on this Shifter. Look for the shifter the first week of August! And yes, the Factory **** will screw on just fine.

Here we go guys!!! We are now taking pre-orders for the 2011 GT shifter! Orders will start getting filled in the next 10 to 14 days, possibly sooner. Our shifter provides approx 20% shorter throw than stock.

Part number is 555-7312. Retail price 214.95, which is 60.00 less than a 2010-prior shifter.

TMS member price? PM me for that or call me at 954-960-0774 Xt. 1113.

Pre-Orders have to be called in for the time being as the part is not on our site yet and probably wont be til sometime next week.

For those who missed it previously, here is the video of the shifter in action during early testing.

So, this same shifter should fit the V6 cars too since it is the same basic tranny other than ratios, right?

So, are you going to get a V6 car to try it out on?

Should be some V6 owner close to you guys that would be willing to let you try one out on his car.

Not yet, we are still in the pre-order stage. I havent even gotten a picture of the production piece yet. I hope to have that in the next day or 2.

On the V6, if we find someone sure. Every V6 we've had in our shop so far has been an auto.
