VCM 2 for 2013 & 2014

Hi,

I am looking for a VCM 2 software that will work for my 2014 Mustang. All I see is the newer version such as V109, but I cannot find the V91 software because is an older version. From what I have seen that others have use V91 on 2013 and 2014.

Will the latest software such as V109 or other versions work for our 2013/2014 cars for programming?

Please let me know.

Thanks

I have v86 and it works perfect for our cars. you really need v81 and v86 then upgrade if you want. Most of us run the v86 though. if wanted I can share if you want v86

VCM 2 is a programmer. You can use it to change your as built data, seat belt alarms, and such. Let's say you want to install a gauge cluster from a 14 gt with track apps in a 12 gt with base cluster, you'd need the VCM 2 tool to change the as built data or your car won't start with the new cluster

aha, thanks -- so it is kind of like a tuner, except goes deeper into the "firmware" . . . I think I get it

that is pretty hard core stuff, explains why not many of us are familiar with it

I thought that the V81 & V86 wouldn't work for the 2013 and 2014. From what I found so far that the V91 works for the 2013 and 2014, but I could be wrong. What year is your car? I am not able to find the older version because a lot of the VC2 have newer version today.

Found more information from another link. V101 will work. See posted #145 and #146 in this link: https://www.svtperformance.com/threa...1018491/page-8

I guess any newer version will work for our model year 2013 & 2014, but I don't think the V86 will work.
