My car isn't getting a lot of love here But I understand, They did get overshadowed as the GT's got better. I don't know if it'll be like that for the Boss though, it does seem more like a special car.

I would go for the Boss, I love the looks, the way it handles and how it's focused on driving. I've always heard the Boss was just so much fun to drive. I'd love to own one someday, it's easily one of my favorite Mustang's. But with the new 15's coming out and using some of the parts from the Boss, it doesn't make the decision easy.

I'm biased, the Boss is so far the best handling Mustang to date. Perfectly balanced, and I just love the sound of the quad pipes with the Trackey.

Boss.

The Boss can be modded easily to be a drag racer. See RatRace on youtube.

The Shelby can be modded somewhat easily to be a road course carver. Mine is exactly that, and all I've done thus far is replace rear CA's and replaced wheels/tires with lightweight wheels and widest possible Toyo 888's front and rear. It will be better when I adjust the rest of the suspension down the road.

It's ironic that RatRace drives a Boss as a drag racer and my 500, which she's essentially building with me, is being turned into a track car. It really depends on what you want to drive. If you're going to keep them stock, take that into account in terms of what you want to do with the car. If not, consider the cost of what you want to do to each. Ultimately, both of them are surpassing driving experiences.

Can't go wrong with either car. I purchased my 2011 GT500 new. Modified it some since new.

Car simply puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Matter of fact I am leaving today to drive to Shelbyfest celebration in Herman MO. 3rd year for me.

There is a contingent of owners from all across the US that attend.
