Guys,

Despite searching ALL the sites, NADA, Edmunds, KellysBB, etc etc, I cannot get a
Value on my car, ALL the sites default to 2010s......So what IS the value of my 2011

It is worth more to you than the person that you would sell it to...

The dealer sells your car for about 28000 so they probably want to give you about 23000 their thieves.

I am part of a dealership and I know we would give more then that for that car. My quick guesstimate is high 20's trade with a low 30s retail.

You really have to check to see what similar cars are going for at auction.

If you were to trade the car, figure on getting auction prices. The reason you can't find any hard data is that there's simply not enough of it yet to formulate an actual value.

If you're looking to sell, simply put it up there for what you think is a fair deal. You'll know if you're high based on the response you get from prospective buyers.

I just did a quick check of a site that has listings for SD, MN and IA. There were six pages of Mustangs, but no 2011 model. The closest 2010 was a low mileage GT Premium going for $27,900.

How can there be used 2011 cars for sale when 2011 just started last week?

Not just Ford. Pretty common practice across the board to push a new model by about september.

Heck I purchased my "2011" Harley -Davidson in early August.

I bought my pre-owned 2011 on 10/4/10 w/1,921 miles. For $28,988.00. I have a cousin that sells Ford in a tiny town. He says there wasn;t any used in a like a 5 states near/around us range. I live in TX, so huge area!! Sure there aren't so many states around us, but tons of Ford lots in state. I've wanted to pull up what's it worth. Won't let me chose 2011, too.

You can find a new '11 for around invoice. There's a $2K rebate currently. Subtract for the miles (maybe another $2K), then figure that a dealer would want to make about $2K on a used car. So, my best guess is that a dealer would pay you about $6K below invoice or you could sell it yourself for about $4K below invoice.

Based on that info, I'd guess a maximum retail value of your car is around $33K. Not all lenders will finance 100% of retail, though.
