Boy that does look sweet ... did you do something to the HID headlights to make them look darker or is it just the lighting ??

The lamps looked so good and dark I did not realize they were HID's at 1st !!

I've narrowed my color choices down to Grabber Blue, Kona Blue, or Sterling Grey.

The only one I've seen up close and in person is the Grabber Blue so I'm planning on checking out the other two before I make a final decision and order. The Saddle Leather looks sharp in pics and is an option with Kona & Grey ... need to see this in person too. However the more Grabber I see, the more I like it !!

Everything I have read says they have 3.5" but I compared them to 4" at a muffler shop and they were the same so I'm not sure what happened there.

That part Vegas speedway is open all the time because they always have the Petty driving school in there. You just can't get on the actual track part of it.
If you look at the first and second picture, both sets of fences are open to the opening at the end of of the pit wall. I can see all the way to the apron of the track. You should just have waited for RPDE to go to lunch and then taken a few laps.

Okay, I was wrong, the gap in 1 & 2 is the gap between pit stall 14 and 15. But you still can get to pit road, and then the track is open from there.

It is open because all the guys in the Petty school just pull right through there after doing laps. Some of them drove right by my car as I was parking to take the pics. It's amazing how loud those things are. I might as well have been driving a 4 cylinder.

Here are a couple more from a pre-Sema carshow a couple months ago. They let some of us military guys bring out our cars and participate. They were a little dirty here because they had us in a dirt lot at first but I still think they are cools pics.

They can be very loud, its mostly due to the lack of CATs and any type of mufflers and the 600 HP that they make. Nothing like the sound of an open V8 at 6,000 to 8,000 RPM. But also remember, they paid $500+ just to drive one of them a few laps. You get to drive your beast every day...

Man, your ride is badass, Jason. I wish I could've seen it in person last July while I was in Vegas! My brother's no longer stationed at Nellis, so no more free stays in Vegas for me.

Edit: Say what you want about the rear end of the 2010+ 'Stangs but, from the front, the new ones look sooooo much meaner than their '05-'09 counterparts!
