The "Ford Tune" doesn't keep the same warranty that you have now. When running that tune your warranty get's changed to a shorter, less mileage warranty.

Your best bet would be to give Ford a call and get all the details on that.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

There's no reason to worry when running a Bama tune. Our head tuning specialist has been tuning Mustangs for 15+ years and definitely has every aspect of these cars figured out! However, just for a little state of mind, we do offer a Cylinder #8 warranty. We offer this to let our customers know that no matter what happens, will have your back!

Feel free to give the Bama team a call and they'll give you the run down on all of this! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I'm itching for a Bama tune and intake combo, Just worried if something happens post tune, I'll be hung out to dry by everyone; not sure the extra power would be worth the potential headache.

Same here so Im doing everything but in the meantime: shifter, suspension, appearance, etc. Ill prolly still tune it early, but Ive got at least 5k in other mods to get through first. Then itll be like driving a new car in a few years when tuned.

Is there any chance of AM providing Diablo tuning? I know you guys offer a cylinder #8 warranty with Bama and SCT products... but its been shown that The Diablo Intune is the only tuner that doesn't leave a trace. If you guys offered one, Id order it immediately

SlowRider,

Stay tuned at the end of this Month, I think there's some parts you'll be purchasing. I can't say much more !

Not to derail this thread, but there was a lot of talk about the Intune awhile back and it just seemed to fizzle out. I guess I haven't stayed on top of it, but can you link me somewhere that supports the "no trace" claims? I feel like if that was actually the case, more people would be talking about it/running it. Or maybe people are smarter than I think and they know when to keep their mouth shut lol.

I have 2013 GT Automatic which of course has a normal and sport mode. Is there anyway to download a tune for just the sport mode so I can leave the normal alone?

An added bonus of the InTune is that it does not leave any footprint, fingerprint, watermark or trace on your vehicle's PCM after you return the vehicle back to stock so your dealer will not be able to see that the Intune was ever installed.

Sweet Jesus!!, say its so.

Besides the manufacturer of the product, who has shown this to be true? You supposedly know, so share it and don't tell me to go search.

I would just like to know in general as well. Not that I care my car has 99k on the meter so there's no warranty on it anyway.

Found on another site

powertrain control modules are no where near what you're referring to in govt. computers.

The easy answer to how we're not traceable is this: we don't screw up the checksums, counters nor do we overwrite to areas that are not required. Once your vehicle has been restored, it is truly restored. No remnants or anything left behind.... Oh and I almost forgot, ou tools take real full images of wahts there so no matter what it gets restored just like it was.

As far as the FRPP's yes they do leave things behind in a couple places so I could see how that would be an issue, that and they're overwriting the entire file in the PCM and putting in there wahtever they want which isn't always a good idea. On others that don't completely over write it there's still evidence normally left right past the header in the calibration raising the flag for ford, others leave stuff at the end of the calibration or in "blank" or "filler" areas.
This man speaks the truth

For anyone wondering, sohfast is our in house Ford tuning professional...

Hypermotive just picked up VMPtuning to provide some of the best custom tuning in the nation. VMPtuning is by far one of the best tuners in the industry. If you guys have any questions about VMP packages, tunes and service just send us a shout!!

I just ordered the Diablosport In-tune turner. The extra cash over SCT is well worth the cost of keeping my warranty when going back to stock.
