Tune?

I will be getting my car lowered soon and was just considering another mod for it. I am very much considering a tune. The one I am leaning toward is the SCT SF4 tuner with the bama tunes. Do you guys recommend the bama tunes? I have a 2014 Gt so the #8 cylinder problem I think is resolved. Any of you guys out there with the bama tune? Or anyone that used them and didn't like it? Any other recommendations? Thanks!

^ lol. I'd get a used SCT and go with Lito. He has a lot of patience and wants data logs until everything is perefect. Only $150 for your basic bolt ons including cams.

The #8 cylinder issue was on the 11-12 models. The issue was corrected for the 13 plus models. That is a dead issue and highly recommend Bama tunes. Bama offers free tunes for life along with a #8 cylinder warranty.

Not sure on the numbers that the Wal-Mart tunes are putting out but I can assure you that if you are looking for a great tune then Lund Racing is the way to go. I would be happy to set you up with a great deal on an SCT W\ Custom Lund Tune.

OP, A lot of hard core mustang performance enthusistists go with Lund tuning. Always have heard excellent things about them. I have read by many that if one has manual go with Lund and if automatic go with AED. I have no idea how much faster 0-60 or 1/4 mile times a Lund, AED, Custom dyno tune, VMP tune will get you over a Bama tune.

Lund is definitely a great option and from all my readings, you won't be disappointed should you go with a Lund tune.

I've ran both Steeda and Bama tunes.. Also ran (Bamachip) tunes before being sold to AM and now most recently Brenspeed..

Before upgrading from N/A to supercharged, I actually got the best performance from the Doug Studdard (Bamachips) tunes over the Steeda and AM/Bama calibrations, as his tunes were actual custom mail order programs that were written specifically for your car's individual parameters..

The AM/Bama and Steeda tunes on the other hand seemed more like canned tunes to me although they did provide a significant improvement over the stock calibration.. However since running FI, I've had the best results running Brenspeed tunes as practically every parameter has been spot on including Air/Fuel and my overall performance has been awesome to say the very least..

With that being said ! I would rate Brenspeed, JDM Engineering, Lund Racing and VMP Tuning for my top 4 choices as custom mail order tuning specialists hands down..

He most certainly did and his customer service was also second to none as he always took the time to address my questions and concerns in both a respectful and polite manner.. His personality was indeed truly one of a kind without a doubt in which he demonstrated by putting the needs of his customers first..

Hopefully at some point in time, he'll consider opening up a new custom tuning shop down the road
