The tube/pipe that sends the engine noise to the cabin???
When I test drove the 11 GT the thing I noticed was there was more noise coming from the engine than coming from the exhaust. That was a bit weird to me.
I liked the sound of the stock exhaust but to me it needs to be about 10-15% louder.
And I like the sound of the 5.0 V8 too, but to me it needs to be about 10-15% quieter.
So to rectify this removing that tube or whatever they put in to "funnel" the engine noise into the cabin will solve part of that, and at least a catback exhaust would solve it completely.
Is there a way to remove that engine tube/pipe funnel thing-a-ma-jig?
Has anybody done it yet?

Yes, ends at the firewall hole.
No, has no engine management functionality so no check engine light if properly removed.
