No one is hating on V6s... they are hating on posers that have a V6 with GT badges.

I'm sure if the funds where there at the time of purchase everyone would own a GT get off they're backs and appreciate the love for the **** car!
You know what surprised me? When I called for insurance on a GT and a Shelby they were the same price. When it comes down to it parts is parts I guess. Also being 40 this year doesn't hurt on the rates either.

Now that made more sense. Wasn't so hard...

All I asked was why he wanted the GT emblem. If you wanna put 5.0 and GT badges all over a minivan, that's your right...And it's my right to call that retarded.

What he said. If you wanna make your car unique, by all means, go for it. But why would you wanna pretend it's something that it's not?

I'm all for customizing your car to your own likings but when it comes down to saving money by going with a v6 instead of a gt- but then dumping money into your v6 to make it look like a gt- in the long run wouldn't it have been easier to just buy the gt? I've always been against posing like making your v6 a lookalike gt, but I'm sorry to say that the supersnake wheels or the gt500 wheels for that matter look awesome on the new bodystyle! If I had the money I'd buy them for my gt. But I personally would never put gt500 badges on it or turn it into a gt500 lookalike. Just my 2 cents.

That's because they both have V8 engines the insurance companies I believe don't recognize engine mods such as superchargers or turbos they just ask for the cylinders, I'm not sure but I do believe that's how it works
