Traxxas BOSS 302

I got my Traxxas BOSS 302 Stang a few days back. Gets up to 50mph! Lots of fun to drive and mess around with. Drifts like crazy! 50mph at 1/16 scale is equivilant to 800mph, I can say after witnessing some of the carnage that its better to not get up to 800mph in a 5.0

I'm planning on getting a bunch of unpainted body shells and wheels for it to make various versions (5.0, GT500, Roush, etc...)

A set of tires and wheels for $36 and an engine for $48 this looks like the Boss for me.

No they are electric. If you do the dual battery setup they will go about 50mph. Really fun!

I was at a local hobby store on Friday and they had one in KB. My nine year old son practically begged me to buy it. I was tempted but held off. BTW it was priced at $215.

Sounds like the brushed motor version.

Brushless costs more but runs faster.
