Yeah, you call that number 1-877-744-7279 then select 5, then 3 There is a phone tracking system. You just need the railcar number. It will ask you for the letters first, then the numbers. Mine is ETTX 803496.

It will jsut tell you where the train is headed. Mine said. Departed Walbridge, OH this morn at 7:19am, Enroute Connellsville. PA. (Thats probably the next rail crossroads.) no ETA.

maybe mine is on that railcar as well, it was built 5/04

what dealership(s) did you, corvettedreamin and HokieCodeMonkey order from?

I forget where those two ordered from, but mine was from a dealer in Tysons Corner.

They'll likely be offloaded in Jessup, MD or Petersburg, VA. I think mine could go either way since I'm a bit further south than Jokerstars. Jokerstars is likely to be Jessup. No idea about the Hokie kid.

Once it gets to Connellsville, would it take another train to Jessup? Or would it go on Convoy?

Do they have to unload it off the train and put it on a new one? Or does it stay on the same car?

Will Ford CS give you the rail car number or do you have to bother your dealer?

In Jessup? The cars to be delivered "locally" will be offloaded and put on truck transports. If you're asking about PA, I can't imagine they mix up the cars in the railcars so that you have to unload 10 cars to get one out. So I'm going to go with "no" . . .

I got mine from the dealer. Ford CS wouldn't tell me; they said "contact your dealer."

This works well except I called 904-633-4906. Got a lady who was extremeley nice and knowledgeable. She stated "the rail car was emptied on 15 Jun at 1:04 pm in Cayce, SC". Cayce is 38 miles from my dealer so I'm just waiting on the call to come get it! Getting hard to sit still.

Hell's Bells! I live in Michigan, it doesn't even have to get on a train. It's only a four drive from Detroit to Petoskey (depending on who is driving of course). But I haven't heard diddly squat about it.

Big sigh.......

OT: You're from Petoskey, Joe? I grew up in East Jordan. I'll probably be bringing my car up that way for the 4th.

That sounds like a nice break-in for your car. If you've got someone with you, pick up my car on the way.

Are you in the service now?

Small world. I grew up in Metro Detroit and used to snowmobile in the East Jordan Valley all the time. Had a cabin in Traverse City and also rented a place in ******* during the winters.

Its funny when I see those steel electrical covers on the sidewalk that say "East Jordan, MI" on them.

Nope. I've been out for a LONG time.

My first 10 years were in the city of Wayne. Moved north and finished school there before heading off to the Army. Torr lives in Traverse City (FordBlueHeart).

Few people know how truly great northern Michigan is for a vacation and recreation. But jobs are not plentiful. But then, that's a recurring theme in Michigan.

My rather large dealer in far eastern Tennessee hasn't gotten a single one, yet. I'm 12 weeks out from my order, and I'm hoping that mine is the first he gets....but I've gotten no indication that it has left Flat Rock yet.

My 19 year old son is working at the East Jordan Iron Works this summer, trying to save money for college though he keeps spending to put more things on his 99 Mustang.

The E.J. Iron Works is the largest supplier of ornamental street fixtures in the world.

They're also the largest supplier of JOBS in East Jordan, MI. And non-union. Very non-union.
