I've been driving it daily - about 700 miles on it now. Love the new 5.0 and the manual trans. It handles corners much better than my '07 ever did. Axle hop is bad in 1st and 2nd gear at WOT, so I need to replace the rear control arms sooner than later. Steeda CAI & tune will be in the works sooner than later.

Which control arms are reslving that problem? Will you lower it @ the same time?

I'll be keeping the stock ride height. Steeda, UMI, BMR, etc. all claim to have lower rear control arms that minimize/eliminate hop. Some people have told me that I'll have to replace the upper control arm, as well, and possibly get relocation brackets for the lowers to change the instant centers. However, I'm going to start with just lower control arms and see if that alone will cure the hop. If not, I'll add one piece at a time until the hop is gone.

GT's with the automatic trans don't hop! Man, one more reason that I miss my '07 GT!!!
