touch up paint?

What kind of touch up paint do you guys use? I put a little nick in my lower front bumper yesterday. I have a 2014 Ruby Red GT.

I know a lot of people recommend DR. Color Chip.

Personally I thought it was a waste of money for my black car but I could see how it'd be really useful for matching a different color.

I just use the oem color factory bottles from the dealership. Don't buy that Wal mart crap.

Not a good weekend. I just found out that I have two nicks in my front bumper, not one.

I used the factory touch up paint and instantly regretted it. Broke down and spent the green for some performance white from Dr. Color chip and found it worth every penny. It cost the same as the factory paint, but did a better job. Even my auto detailer couldn't find where I used it on my hood and front bumper cover.

I just did a quick search of Dr. Color chip and has decided that I will be ordering this when I get home tonight.

I paid like 15 bucks for my touch up paint (delivered) from Ford. How's that the same as 70-80 bucks?

I also have Dr. ColorChip but haven't found a need for it yet. The regular touch-up paint from ford worked fine.

Prepare to be patient...

When I ordered mine I didn't get shipping info for 4 days so I emailed him to inquire and his response was "We have to match your paint so this takes time."
-_-
Gotta make sure it's the right shade of black I guess...

The factory touchup paint came from the stealership for 30$ plus tax. The Dr Color Chip was 50 including shipping. I thought it money well spent for a bottle that will last the lifetime of the car. But that is just me. Not sure why anyone would buy the 70 or 80$ bottle. What are you doing repainting your car with it?
