talked to my sales rep from galpin tonight and he said they can make me a pretty good deal on my roush nitemare F-150 so i told him id come in tommorow and im pretty sure we can make a deal. If they have/can find a 5.0 manual with brembo and 3.73s(401A if im really lucky) in either silver as my first choice or black as my second, then ill probably be posting some pictures for you guys tommorow or monday

 

let us know what happens. i was in at galpin very recently and they couldn't do much for me as they said i owed too much on an 08 mustang i wanted to trade. part of the problem was they wanted money down to off set the negative equity. but if i was going to put money down, i may as well put the money down on my loan, get out of the neg value, then sell the car myself, and not worry about trading in anything.

 

ya i owe about $6000 on my 07 but they said thats no problem.

 

That is what i have ordered Ingot 401A w/Brembo, but I went with 3.55's. If Galpin wasn't so far away there is a Silver, Brembo, 401A, 3.73, comfort pkg., security, HID, shaker 1000 @ Shultz Ford in Wexford, PA. I looked at it, but didn't want comfort or the Shaker 1000.

 

ya i kept getting a bunch of dealers where id tell them "ok i want a 5.0 manual, 3.73s, Brembo package and 401A with cashmere stripes." theyd find me one with all that and more and id tell them i dont wanna pay for stuff i dont want. then they would bring up another car with electronics package or something else i dont want. it got really annoying

 

How was your experience W/ Galpin overall? How much are they taking off MSRP? Thanks

 

well they are very helpful just like every other dealership ive been too haha but they are also a lot more knowledgable when it came to my trade in. Its a roush nitemare F-150, 1/100 built so its very rare. Other dealers were saying they can give me $16000 for it(the price of a stock F-150 with the same miles and condition), while galpin says $23,000. so that shows me they are more honest/knowledgable about how much the truck is worth. They also said they can take off a few hundred to maybe a thousand off the MSRP. But i might end up ordering through them since they said they can get the car in about 4 weeks.

I just have to wait and see what happens with the truck on ebay and see if it gets above $23,000
