Throttle Body Spacer

Claims to improve low end torque.
Anyone have any experience with these?

Waste of money from what I have heard. Hardly any power increase from that mod. Save your money for something else.

It probably won't do anything, but I my friend has one in his 05 v6 and its whistles and sounds pretty BA.

These are pretty common on corvettes, which have a similar throttle body arrangements

They work by effectively increasing the plenum size and runner length of the intake. The net effect of which is generally a bit crisper throttle response and improved low-end. But we're not talking about a lot.

Also keep in mind that be lengthening the runners, what you're doing is give up top-end power for bottom end power. So keep that with a grain of salt.

If you drive your car exclusively on the street, it may be worth while as the added torque will make driving around in town a bit easier.
