Those of you with superchargers???

I've spent more than a few hours thinking about getting a blower. Wife keeps telling me to get it if I want one. But, I keep thinking, I hardly use the 400+ HP that I currently have. I mean it's great when hitting an onramp and there is no one else on it. It's a blast pulling an aggressive pass on a long 2 lane country road. But, How often would I dip into 550+. Would I really lean on the loud pedal on a semi regular basis?

Those of you who have taken the plunge... Do you? How often do you? Is a track only thing or do you feel free when on an open road with little to NO traffic? Realistically how often do you enjoy the rush? How long have you been running the blower? Anything else you'd like to share...

I seem to be talking myself out of going forced, but who knows, maybe the experience of others will talk me into it. Undoubtedly others will benefit from the experience of those of you living life on the edge.... Thanks in advance.

Boost is addicting, if you did some form of FI you would find reasons to use it.

Once you boost you can never go back............. I almost didn't buy my 14 because I came from a FI 08 with 430 HP/TQ at the wheels and it is a different beast. You just need to decide how you want to use your car. I am an acceleration junkie so its the first thing I am doing to the car.....

I look at it this way....(currently stock '11 GT/CS).....when I desire a new car, I will possibly do FI and call it good. I see no need for anything over a '14 for my liking.

Unless you get a ford racing or rush s/c and get it installed by a dealer.

Is this correct? Is there a certain mileage range you have to have it installed within? Thats pretty awesome if ford allows the S/C to be installed and retains the warranty. If this is true Im putting a FR on mine.

The rush is optional 400 bucks 3 year/36000 mile powertrain. While ford racing has 12 month/12000 mile warranty, but don't know if that's only for the s/c or powertrain. Nothing huge but its there.
