Those Of You With 6-spd Trans Problems.. Please Read!

I've filed suit and need your help.
Please take 5 minutes and PM me a quick statement as to your experience(s) with your trans failing, and Ford refusing to fix it. My court date is Nov 1, and I need as many statements as I can get. If I win, legal precedent is then set for ANYONE AND EVERYONE to pile on and follow suit. Not only would you get paid the amount needed to replace your transmission with a better 'non-defective' unit such as a Tremec, it'll seriously light a torch under Ford's butt to stop stone-walling and fix these **** things.
No matter what you think my chances are, please PLEASE take the 5 minutes and write the statement. It's not a lot of time, for a HUGE possible return.
If you'd rather email me a statement, or want to talk to me in person, just PM me your contact info.
If you're in SoCal, and available to testify in person, please let me know this as well. It's in Santa Ana.
This is our chance for the first volley.. Please don't let it pass by.
THANKS!
FWIW, I'm on my 2nd 2012. I mistakenly thought that after getting the run-around at dealer after dealer, I should be able to get another one, and the odds would be in my favor of NOT having the same trans problems as the first one. Not only was I mistaken, the second one is actually worse.
I personally am NOT looking to get the car bought back(if I was, I sure as hell wouldn't have bought a second one), I'm simply wanting my transmission FIXED. Since Ford is refusing to do it, then I'll replace it with another transmission myself.
I've got video of the shifter grinding and locking me out of gear, and I'm looking into subpoenaing all relevant docs from the NHTSA's investigation. I believe I have a STRONG chance of winning this case. The more individual stories I walk in there with, the more likely the court will see this as a wide-spread issue, and take action.

Lets all sue, there's got to be something wrong with your car right?

You are aware that the GT500 guys are *****ing about their crappy shifting Tremec? Love to hear this batted about as some type of almighty fix. You sound like Matero, " I love my car, but let's sue" and I need everybody behind me to say what a POS it is.

Honestly, thats cool that you are doing something about it. 90% of the dudes with tranny problems will go no further then a forum to ***** about 'the cars problems'.
Keep us posted on what comes of your suit....

That being said, Ive got to say I agree with Swamp Dweller.... I think if you went on any forum for any make or model you'll find a thread about some 'defective' part where some guys are demanding retribution from the manufacturer...
The tranny issues may be a legit issue. Im not saying they arent... just not sure how this is gonna pan out for you.

Best of luck, hope you got a solid lawyer!

Good luck and I hope you and others with the MT-82 issues get resolution. I'll inform my nephew and a local club member that you are doing this to see if they want to get involved.

Additionally ignore the idiotic comments and do what you feel you need to do.

If you think it's gonna be a quick and easy win, you better sit back and grab a beer. Cuz it won't be quick or easy. Good luck with it.

For the record...The best part of this thread is the tranny jokes.

Yeess, ignore the idiotic comments you will hear because if I was on my second car and still having a problem like this I would be extremely pissed off!!! You never know what you would do until something like this happens to you. I really hope your issue gets resolved and all these tranny issues get fixed because it's making me sick...
