Thinking about selling my Shelby

Not sure what I am going to do. I have two SVT Mustangs and and am out of garage space to be able to add something new.
I will never sell my 04 Cobra. Which puts the 2011 GT500 in the cross hairs.
Not sure if it is worth paying to store it offsite for a car that may get 1000 miles a year going forward. My kids do not want me to sell it.
I just can't justify spending $$$$$ on a new car and letting it set outside (northern winters).
What decision did you guys make when faced with a similar situation? Keep a depreciating asset or sell it with fond memories?

I traded in my '99 Hugger Orange Camaro SS, (1 of 35 made with my order specs), with white leather interior for my '13 Roush Stage 3. I could afford to keep it offsite at a very local storage space, but for the 100 bucks a month, not driving it much, (which I didn't anyways), and the worse part, leaving my car at an "offsite" location, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night wouldn't be doing me any good.
So,......I traded in the Camaro SS for the Roush. Good luck going forward.

I've got a spare space in my garage. Lend it to me for your winter storage, I'll keep it nice and safe and I'll do it for free. Can't beat that, now can ya?!?!

What about a car lift in your garage? If the ceiling is high enough you could park a car under the car that is on the lift, and you have opened a spot for the Hellcat

Haha, yes I like the way you think. We need more subliminal Hellcat posts to push him in the right direction

Where do you store the Grey Poupon?
Since they charge 8k for a break job on a GTR..and you have the money for that, why not have a
bigger garage added to the manor and just keep all the cars?

OP let us know how you solve this dilemma just in case the rest of us are lucky enough to find ourselves in the same situation someday.

you know... You could sell your Shelby and free up a bay in your garage... OR you can keep it right were it is and just go out an buy a Pony... Hyundai Pony.
There are so many pro's to this and let me tell you why
- Nobody would think of stealing it
- Nobody would care if the only water the car sees is rain water
- you wouldn't have to worry about parking it in the garage
- it would likely cost you next to nothing to acquire one!
AND... it its still in the same breed category of car. A Pony lol!

I was kidding about the HellCat, but not about the lift.
Have a look:

Not too pricy and potentially solves your dilemma.

Keep it. I don't have a garage and I keep mine parked outside in my driveway. I live in NY so the winters here are bad but the car still won't see salt since I don't drive it in the winter.
