I would hope it would be like 3 Knight rider kitt lights. That would look sweet.

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand and recognize the absurdity of putting those two terms in the same sentence. Although, you can't deny that the styling cues are definitely similar in shape and proportion.

Similar headlamp shapes, similar grill shapes, and similar proportions of the two.

Ford went right after the M3 in performance, so perhaps they're going after other Euro styles for the looks going forward. It's ballsy for sure, and not everyone will have the taste for it. I'm excited nonetheless. I could see the tail lights looking similar to a DB9 for the overall housing while keeping the 3 vertical lights scheme within it; it might work.

Certain styling cues help make the model recognizable. The three-segment tail lights don't have to be a particular shape - the shape varied immensely even during the first generation models. But can you picture a BMW without the dual "kidney" grilles?

I didn't care for the horizontal tail lights but I'll also agree that the retrofit always seemed like a retrofit and I was never a huge fan. I did love the tail lights on my '01 though - especially after I went sequential with them.

That was one of my disappointments of the 94 model wondering why the direction of the lamp sections were going the wrong way. As soon as the 96 models came out I was all over getting the lamps retrofitted to my 94 Convertible ASAP!

I loved this car!

I hear you on the styling. I was fortunate to drive the Focus ST in Europe a while back - that is sweet (should be in USA late this year or early 2012) but that 2.5 blown engine hauls some @$$ and is real fun to drive, would make an excellent 2nd car.

Thanks for good idea!

I think soon there will be a detailed model. Design I will publish when I will take out the patent for it.

You missed my point... certain features of well known car models are very familiar and give the car some of its identity. Examples include the kidney grilles on BMWs, the fender portholes on Buicks, Jaguar headlight shapes, and the vertical 3-segment tail lights on Mustangs. I would no sooner get rid of the Mustang tail light style than I would expect other companies such as BMW to give up their unique identifying characteristics.

I apologize, I have understood your thought. But if to change nothing, it will be not interesting to live . And to return to old it is possible always, as was in 2005.
