Question Sync owners with Droid please chime in

Was wondering if anyone else has had trouble Syncing their Moto Droids to the Sync via bluetooth. Am I doing something wrong or will it simply not work? Please help.

Thanx in advance for replies..

I'll be watching this thread since I'm thinking of getting a Droid in the next couple months.

I have a rooted Droid and had no problem connecting to it. Maybe make sure your phone is in discoverable mode or whatever it's called.

I have a Moto Droid and I Sync'd it no problem. Just followed the Sync guide... Why don't you tell us what you have tried and what the Droid/Sync is doing?

Just make sure you have bluetooth turned on and that is in discoverable mode. I have a samsung moment that uses the android system and it works fine when these two things are turned on.

Maybe im just doing something wrong, but yea i have it to where it's discoverable and then get the Sync to try and find it , but it comes back with something like " not found or no source found"...something like that... I'm certain im doing something wrong but cant figure it out..

Maybe you have another app running on it which is screwing with the bluetooth in some way? Or maybe there is something faulty with your phone too?

The reason I think it's just me not doing something right is because we both have droids and i cant get either one to connect.. I feel really

I have a HTC Droid Eris, no problems with mine. It syncs automatically when I get near the car, don't even have to take it out of my pocket.

This is good to know. I'm upgrading to an EVO in a week or two. How do you like it?

The guys at my local verizon store r super helpful whenever I have a problem with my blackberry storm. If you have a small verizon office near you, I would consider stopping by with the, "I'm a dope, can you help me?" story and see if they will make time to hook u up. It couldn't hurt. If it's early in the morning you might want to bring someone a starbucks!

You need to ensure that you make the phone discoverable in the bluetooth settings or else the "handshake" can't complete. I have a G1 and it works great.
