Sync...iPhone 4... Blutooth audio problems
Well,
I have searched these boards , the web, and called Ford. I'm having problems with my Bluetooth audio in my 11 GT. Has anyone here had problems with it?
Here is the scenario-I use the "Bluetooth Audio" voice command and it starts to play music off of my iPhone 4 continuing from the last point in the playlist. That works fine but it won't accept any other Bluetooth audio commands. If is say for example " play next track" , it will pause momentarily as if it is accepting the command but then the music continues and nothing else happens.
Does anyone here have a solution or I am S.O.L because the sync doesn't like the iPhone.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

However my iPhone4 wont play on my USB only bluetooth. When I hook it up the the USB it pretty much cause my sync to go HAYWIRE!
Apple is holding an event on Wednesday to show off their new products, hopefully they will also let the next update go wild (iOS 4.1) which will allow this functionality... Apple for some reason couldn't figure out how to fully implement a simple bluetooth profile known as AVRCP, which allows for remotely controlling the iPhone. The last time apple had an update, they only went as far as giving us play/pause. iOS 4.1 will allow for commands such as back/next, as well should put the song information on the syncs display.
I had the same problem again tonight (this is the second time). If you go to SYNCMYRIDE you will find out it is a common problem when you update (or even sync) your i-phone (not much of a consolation but at least you know you are not alone). What you can do is pull fuse number 3 (fuse for SYNC) which will reset SYNC and allow you to use the USB port again. When my i-phone takes out my USB nothing that I hook into the USB is recognized.
