Just the regular Sync System with Aux, Bluetooth and USB. Non-Navigation and no Sirius.

Wondering if anyone saw my earlier message ... is there anyone else who upgraded to SYNC 4.6 who is still able to use Siri?

If so, can you post which iPhone you have and which iOS is installed?

Also, FordIVTeam, do you have any suggestions for me to try?

 

Unfortunately Ford removed Siri Eyes-Free support in SYNC version 4.6. The last supported version was 4.4, it was "silently" removed without them trying to make any mention of it until you have updated and then you find out. Only way to get it back is to downgrade back to version 4.4, and good luck on trying to get a copy of DR3T-14D544-AF version 4.4. They won't give it to you. So far the only thing I have gotten from Ford is you have to take it to a dealership and see if they will downgrade it for you. I have been looking everywhere for a copy of DR3T-14D544-AF and I can't find one anywhere.

 

Does anyone happen to still have the update file for the 2011 mustang? The website only lets me update in store.

 

Can't you copy, save and then forward the updated files in-store to your mobile device or e-mail account

 

No it doesn’t even show the file, just says to take it in and they quoted me around 600

 

Unfortunately, the only other option I can think of is to consider contacting Ford customer service at 1 (800) 392-3673 and ask to speak with a manager and bring to their attention your concerns about the file updates... Perhaps they can work something out for you or provide other options

 

Are they VIN specific? Is the ZIP file something we can post on here?
