Are bolted in subframe connectors worth it. I dont drag race the car, autocross maybe 5 times a year, I just want an awesome handling mustang.

 

Subframe connectors are not needed and are probably not available for the s197 Mustang.

 

This isn't bolt-in, but I want this for stiffness and the jacking rails:

There are several companies that make sub-frame connectors for the S197. The issue I found is they don't work well with the Boss 302 side exhaust. Since my side exhaust was already paid for and installed I sent the subs back for a refund.

 

Hotchkis make them too

 

There are a lot of companies that do make them. You may find that the consensus is that the S197 has a pretty stiff body and really doesn't need them unless under extreme conditions. Having said that I did add the Steeda rear torque boxes support braces.

 

There are several options ... including the X brace too.
