Strictly Performance Went 9.96 @ 137 mph

...I have zero details, as this info came from a friend (Mike Galimi, for those that know him) on Facebook.

Impressive.

Mike is a reliable source. He has been involved with Muscle Mustangs for years.

Found this on another forum :

Congrats Strictly Performance- 9.96!

Congrats to Richard Lelsz and Strictly Performance on running the first 9-second run with a 2011 5.0L Mustang GT.

The shop swapped out the stock six-speed manual trans for a C4 and then he plumbed a direct port nitrous system. Using prototype tuning software, Lelsz threw down 656 rwhp this morning on the dyno.

The white GT features upper and lower control arms, Bogarts all around, and the aforementioned parts.

Tonight during Test And Tune at Houston Raceway Park, Lelsz ran 9.96 at 137 mph right off the trailer! Congrats to the entire team on running so quickly with the shop ride and pushing the boundary even further.

Seriously. I don't know why someone would put music over their track runs. I don't just want to see a run in the 9's, I want to hear it too!

Only a matter of time. Though getting that much atleast once on the dyno and then some runs is so-so impressive if its a stock motor. There are many stock 4.6s out there running 560-600 at the crank still but 656 at the rear.....**** man thats over 700crank on the stock block. I hate to be like this but really, still 100% stock motor???????

I'm surprised it didn't go faster actually. If they tear out the interior it will...

Yeah, with that music I expected to see a dude in one of those ridiculous cars with the 30in rims throwing gang signs.

We get it, you don't care for the music, quit beating a dead horse! Mute is a wonderful thing, read the comments from the owner as it explains his choice of music (whether you like it or not...).

Very impressive times. I'm curious to see how much they can squeeze out of it before it pops!

I don't care what kind of music it is - that's not the point to me. In a video such as this, I don't want to hear ANY music - I would MUCH MUCH MUCH prefer to hear the sound of the car and the track.

Guess I'm just silly that way. I hope you "get it".

+1 VERY IMPRESSED with the motor.

if its all stock esp bottom end handing that much HP... im sure it will handle 10 psi of boost.. esp intercooled.

so much for the "rods" being maxed out
