Good that he is back with the Saleen brand name again. Never really made sense without him. It's like Roush without Roush.

So, does anyone know or has anyone heard what's going to become of the company formerly known as "Saleen Performance Vehicles," aka "Speedlab," aka "Revstone," aka... As far as Saleen not being the same since Steve's departure, you're right, they were better without him, at least in my opinion.

Glad to see him behind the company again. Hopefully they keep the team that did the 2010-12 cars around, the Saleen was one of my favorite styles for this body. I'd guess that all of the various brands are going to merge back into Saleen, but they may retain them as "versions", not product lines.

Certainly is great news and, as a performance parts retailer I can tell you that things will only get better. When Steve left the company in 2007 the service and support from SPV was less than stellar making it difficult just to get spares and warranty parts for even the S197 models.

According to the press release it also looks like Saleen will try and make all 1984-2012 parts available as well which should really help a lot of the fox body owners.
