Got a quick question. Why do they have like three different prices for the tuner and cai combo? Thanks in advance.

Seems easy enough. I've heard that Ford can tell if you've put a tune on your car (even if you reset it to the factory tune) and will void your warranty. Does anyone know if this is true?

K. This is how the fords work. They have a memory of roughly 50 miles. So the computer only retains data for about that distance. If you load your tune, then return it to stock the computer shows a blank in the memory. Here is the kicker. If you unhook your battery for any length of time it shows the EXACT SAME BLANK SPOT. So if you are taking it in for service you either drive for 50 miles then take it in OR you tell em you just hooked the battery back up to drive it there. Ford will do anything to get out of honoring their warantee so under no uncertain terms do you tell them you had an aftermarket tune on the car. You unhooked the battery. Simple story and stick to it

No problem. I got this info from my tuner here in Saskatoon. Bama confirmed this info. I am confident that it's accurate. Glad to help. Enjoy your amazing car

To the best of my knowledge, the best price you can get (general public) is directly through Steeda and your username from this forum. It knocks off roughly 100 bucks and free shipping.

Thanks Everett. I've heard also that "4 complete drive cycles" will reset the memory and not show a tune in it's history. Have you heard this as well? Basically, drive to work and back twice ( Cool down periods have to be included).
