Sorry not really liking it. Plus it being off center is gonna bug alot of people, i k ow it bugs me. Maybe yall should try and in-house version of your owm cam tune? One that wouldny risk any damage to the engine in the long run. Now that would be kool!

 

Well, since the trunk donkey (LOL) isn't working out, how about a large "FORD" oval? The "5.0" is another nice idea.

 

That is not something I would buy for several reasons. First, I wouldn't put anything on my trunk lid interior. Second, it's not centered. Third, it would need to look substantially better.

 

You should make this happen. This is a quick photochop from a slanted pic of the engine, so the 5.0 appears to be in italics. It should not be, but I'm not that good with PS.

I have to agree with the general consensus here. Not for me...and anything off center would bug me. To fix that you could come up with offset mounts to compensate for the choice of mounting holes. If you did that the hating the off center folks might buy it. I realize this is a prototype but the mustang silhouette would need to be improved by adding the cutout around the legs....

I'm with the majority - sorry I don't see a need for an interior trunk mounted emblem.

I'm also +1 (or is it +1001 now) about something to replace the GT faux gas cap.
Either a 5.0 logo or a running pony (similar to California Special) or different insert or SOMETHING to replace that fugly GT badge!

 

Here, I found a better picture of the 5.0 emblem and redid the period - the red on the "point" kinda detracts from the overall appearance, so I made it black.

 

 

I like the red dot. I don't think I like it slanted either.

 

The faux cap needs to be smaller nonetheless. I wouldn't replace the present one with a 5.0 that has the the same gaudiness. The faux cap reminds me of the days when people wore Mercedes hood ornaments and steering wheels around their neck. Just tacky. I've never liked it.

 

Sorry Gus, this is just not a good idea. Especally with the offset. The 5.0 emblem I would buy if you guys made one.
