Steeda or Barton two post bracket

Hi everyone,
I want to order a shifter bracket for my 2014 GT on order but unsure which one to get. My 2012 is so hard to get the right gear under hard acceleration I know it's needed but concerned about too much noise from the Barton two post. Can anyone here who has either one report about the experience they have theirs?

Thanks, Tom

I have the steeda and it fixed the very problem you described. It comes with 2 bushings and I used the quieter one. It had some noise initially and after about a month, it is quite now. I really like it. I read a lot of posts about the Barton being noisy that scared me away. I wanted to retain the quiet that came factory with my car.

I too have the Steeda shift bracket and LOVE it...first mod I recommend to everyone! I used the black bushing (stiffer one) and have no issues!

HOWEVER, Since your car is not delivered yet do yourself a favor and have the following installed on delivery (It allows you to keep your warranty...well it is actually replaced it with a FR warranty 3yr/36k mi) BUT ONLY if these parts are installed on delivery:

FRPP Power Pack (Incl. GT500 Mufflers & Pro-Cal) I really enjoyed this mod!
FRPP After Cat X-Pipe
AND FRPP NEW Short Through Shifter (Its the Barton shifter and bracket with the FR name on it)

DO these and you will thank me later.....at some point a version of these mods will end up on your car anyhow, so spend the extra cash now and get a warranty with them!

The Ford Barton shifter is seriously overpriced. If you are going to change shifters, get a MGW or a Barton from Barton (withiut the Ford Racing markup) and just hang onto the original one (not like anyone would want to buy it anyway) and IF you have problems under warranty with the tranny you can swap it back in before going to the dealer for service.

Thanks guys, I my original thought was the steeda so I will go with that. My window sticker just went live today so I need to order this week. I already ordered the ford racing shleby gt500 rear valance and quad exhaust to install. I fortunately order from a great roush authorized dealer and they will honor my warranty for any after market mods if I have them install it. If I can sell my current 2012 T privatly I will have the roush 575HP super charger installed. If I can't then I'm going with the Cobra Jet intake, throttle body and steeda cold air intake. They will send my car to Dallas Mustangs to have it dynoed and tuned to max HP.
