Spoiler with Camera Question...??

I'm wondering if you have to have the electronics package in order to have the rear backup camera in the spoiler. Plus the spoiler is a little different, pedestal and all.

So my question is- you have to have the whole eletronics package to have the rear view camera- with different spoiler -- Right??

Thanks if you know...

No, you can order it without the elec pkg. It costs a little more, but you get a screen in the rear view mirror that displays the camera image

1. you can get the rearview camera without the nav package, with the nav the screen will appear in a section on the rearview mirror with a lil bit of trick 2 way glass (option costs more without nav)
2. its not a pedestal it is a bigger version of the standard spoiler imo the perfect styling match for the car, the useful camera is a bonus!

By the order guide, you can get the camera with the electronics pkg, or without the electronics package. It costs $145 more without the electronics pack.

That's correct as they have to use a different rear view mirror

You can go to the Ford Motor co. web site and build one. It shows how the rear image looks when the rear view mirror is used as the monitor instead of the center screen. The spoiler looks better than the one i saw in person. Maybe, the dealer didn't have the two short ends that mount on the fender installed. Something didn't look right to me, but i can't remember. It (the spoiler) looks pretty good on the build your Mustang part of Ford's web site. I'm going to get the rear view camera on my V-6 but i'm going to get the 'Electronics Package'.

Here's a pic... need to take more though... As the others said, I think it looks better than the standard spoiler...

I'm pretty sure the entire spoiler is attached to the trunklid. The "two short ends" stick out from there.
