I'm glad I read this thread, I need to do my plugs sometime soon. Gotta go find some of that nickel stuff, I have the aluminum also.

If this is the factory plugs use this before you pull them.Kano Kroil Penetrating Oil, 8 oz. liquid (KROIL)

Thanks for that tip too!

And I guess it is important to clean around the plugs before you apply the penetrating oil or remove the plugs, so no crud gets dragged down into the holes

Yep, I'm thinking your car has the one piece plugs and they should come out
easy.
