Sorry for your bad luck, does your insurance mitigate some or all of the cost?

Oops, nevermind. I just saw that you had yours professionally done.

Here is a link to a good coating.

Very popular and long lasting. If you have an air compressor and paint gun, it isn't difficult. The prep is a bit of work but the results are good.

A consequence of living with my brother I suppose who has a "take no ****" (in a bad way) attitude. Sometimes I wonder how truthful people can be? In any event, I find it prudent to take people at their word.

Ouch. I have 1k for collision but $100 for comp and it wasn't much higher. My RFF was keyed and it was over $1500 because they blended paint on the hood and door. But they said they can't blend clearcoat so all 3 panels had to be sprayed for that. Plus the ins covered replacement of the 3M Mask and the Dealer Paint Protection. Turned out great. Cost me $100. Still would like to find and hang the sucker.

I will look into it... my mom is on the insurance with me... and since she is a vic president of a company she has some crazy plan. So no one can come and try to get her for money.. she put my car on her plan since she is over 6o and i am 29... makes a big difference in payments.. and she has told that that tis is her second "garaged" car
