So that's why Mustang production was halted... (link)

It seems Motor Trend snapped a clevis pin holding the brake pedal to the MC rod. MT freaked, Ford freaked, and Ford halted all production to search for any other cars with the condition (brake pedal arm not installed correctly). They couldn't find any, and MT surmises that the offending condition was caused after it left the factory, but still pretty scary.

ah the rest of the story... thought it was foolish to stop production for a week when everyone was waiting for their cars..

With all the complaining around here about halted production, I figured this thread would have blown up...

Lots of feet being removed from lots of mouths.
