So Pi$$ed off right now, stupid!
First off, I am really starting to HATE my stupid Mustang. It keeps eating batteries and the Ford dealer tests the car and tells me everything is peachy with the car. Okay, I can deal with that little issue.
But today is the last **** straw with this stupid car, I am sick of it all.
So the story behind this angry post: After school today I got into my car to leave school, turned it on like normal, everything is fine, no engine lights on, I started driving in the school parking lot ready to take the turn onto Blanco Road. I got into the usual school traffic, so I decided to put the car in reverse and back up a little to use a different exit, so after I backed up, I put the car in drive then hit the gas pedal lightly, the car just revs and acts like it is in neutral. No movement, no nothing, so I try the pedal again, same thing, but this time the whole car starts just rolling backwards, so I try to hit the brake pedal, but the brake pedal AND the steering wheel both locked and were rock hard. All this is while the engine was fully on, with no check engine lights nor funny noises coming from the car. So I pulled the parking brake and stopped the car, then the whole vehicle shut down and it completely died.
This scared the crap out of me, I was seconds from being out on busy Blanco Road, thankfully this happened in the parking lot.
The car was towed to the dealership (Southway), they better not make up some BS tomorrow morning, I swear.....
So angry right now.

When you ditch it, just bring it over here to do it.
Be sure to leave the clear signed title with it.
I'd gladly have it.
It's going to turn out to be something simple.

Well, relax and see what the dealer finds. If they cannot fix it, seek another dealer. Either way, you will need to have it running decent to sell/trade it or you will be hurting only yourself, especially if you owe on it. Then, once it is running good, you will be happy and want to keep the car.....lol. Do not open mouth and insert foot before you know the entire story on the car and you position with things.

Sounds like it just died when you shifted from drive to reverse. That would explain the lack of steering and hard brake pedal. I'm not saying it should of died but it sounds to me like that's what happened. Good luck on the fix.

That's what I thought, but I made a slow shift (I have an automatic transmission) and I stopped in Neutral then went to drive again, nice and slow, and I was completely stopped when I shifted.

Your angry comments aside...the thing that bothers me is the fact the engine was running and you lost steering and brakes. That makes no sense, and should be a serious concern to the dealer.
As for the battery issue, it may not be the car, but the battery's themselves. If they cannot find a drain on the system, then I would suspect bad cell(s) in the battery itself and you may have just had the misfortune to get a replacement that was bad also.
Good luck, hang in their.

I concur with your worries, I am also worried at the fact that the car would not move when I pressed the accelerator, instead it began rolling/driving backwards (I have an automatic transmission so the car was in Drive mode).
