All great points fellas. My reasoning for requesting a Job2 build was this. I never buy a first year model of anything, and I'm breaking my own rule here (mainly because how can you pass up this car?) When I saw the list of changes for Job2, I figured that was a good time to order. Like said above, nobody really knows if the new parts are re-engineered or just a supplier change. It just gave me a warm fuzzy, and helped ease my concerns, whether false or not. Now, I just can't wait to get my car! I see all of you having so much fun!

The list is now up to date, I've been saving changes as I went.

I wouldn't see a reason to be paranoid. Some of the listed changes we know are to deal some known issues. (brake pedals for manual cars for example), some may be other quality improvements, but I would image most are for cost savings.

One more thing, there would very likely never be Job 2 changes to sheet metal, as that would likely require more crash testing. So if the body of your car is done already, there are no changes to miss.

I work "in" a Ford plant, and am involved often when there is engineering changes (Edge/MkX/Flex/MkT). Like I said, changes are made all the time.
Agreed, there is a good list of them above the job 2 stuff in my now-finalized list.

If it bothers you enough have you dealer re-order the car, it'll just add a few extra weeks to your wait time.

Not a chance, lol! While he did offer, I declined. I'm over my paranoia...well mostly.

That reminds me of an old saying, " just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean people aren't after me! "

What was wrong with the brake pedals?

It's the clutch pedal staying at the floor over 7000 RPM thing. Since you had to ask, you have nothing to worry about.
