So I did a few 0-60 runs

Secluded road, no one around. 3.73 gears so I wanted to see if I was really experiancing power loss or it was all in my head. First run 6.9 second run 6.1. Either I suck as a driver or something is up. I left at about 3k rpma in first gear to the second. My tires are a bit worn out but nothing major. I wonder why it's so horrible? The car speed seems sporadic. Sometimes its fast, sometimes it lags in low end. I only use 93 octane. Im about to give up and just start putting in 87 and drive it like a grandma since it seems like I have a v6 mustang.

How good are you at launching the car? I found It difficult when I first got it but it's something I've figured out over the year I've had it

Even if I totally suck I would expect to get a whole lot better than 6.1. How the hell did they get 4.4.

They have professional, trained drivers.

But yeah, I'd expect something in the low to mid 5s.

Even if he sucks at launching and spins around in circles runs over two giraffes and goes through a hoop of fire you should be beating 6.1......plus you can tell the power isn't sufficient after just the launch............................but then again you do know the gas is on the right, right?

Remember, it's tuned for 91 so if you can get that, use it - 93 is a waste unless you've got a tune for it.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad.....but.....you have a V-6, right?

My V-6 runs 0 to 60 according to my G-Tech time, 5.2 to 5.7 seconds. Depends on if i get a good launch with my automatic trans.

All traction control is off?! I launched once when I thought it was all turned off (press brake and hold traction button for 5 seconds) and I was actually in sport mode. It bogs like crazy off the line. Just an idea..

Not saying your wrong but I don't normally turn TC off and my car doesn't feel under powered. It's may have something to do with it but I don't think it would limit the car to 6.1 times to 60

I made a thread about how I feel the 5.0 mustang feels under powered at RPMs below 3.5

Learn how to drive your car with AdvanceTrac Off if you're trying to get performance #'s. Also, use Dynolicious for an iPad or iPhone to get the times. When I first got my Mustang, It took me about a week to get launching it down good. I've gotten a couple of 4.6 0-60 prior to mods and a few 4.1 (after mods) 0-60 times.

Perhaps you should take your car into the dealer to have them check it out. Or hook up with someone local to you that has the same year/type Mustang as you and drive theirs to see if there is a difference.

Using an online calculator based on my 1/8 mile time/speed my 0-60 at the track is 3.15

Black 5.0,

Have you ever tuned the car?

Are you all stock?

Have you ever seen a check engine light?
