Shuddering after disengaging clutch
Sometimes after disengaging the clutch my mustang shudders. Can someone tell me why this happens?
If it is due to the clutch being worn down, is it normal for this to happen at 38000 miles. I've owned the vehicle for the last 4000 miles and I have been easy on it.
From reading I do not think the ford esp covers clutch issues.
How much do dealers normally charge an hour for labor, looks like a clutch job is 4 hours. Will a ford dealer fit an aftermarket race clutch or does it have to be oem ford?

I think its normal if the person before you beat the snot out of it or rode the clutch to often. Glazed that puppy up. I think Ford would put a racing clutch in there but they might not give you a warranty with it. I would go elsewhere beside the dealership for this type of work. Its kind of a no brainer repair. I'm pretty sure dealership has to be around 70 or 80 bucks an hour just guessing
