Shocks

Hey guys... Was wondering what shocks you all would recommend for my car... I have Steeda Sport Springs on there now...

And also what should I expect as a reasonable install price..

Thanks!

I'm going with the Koni STR.T, seems to be one of the more popular sets for primarily street use. They aren't adjustable like the Koni yellows. They are a good manufacturer and they seem to be pretty popular on these forums.

and they are on sale right now at Sam Strano. I went with the sport springs with the srtt shocks/struts and I am very happy with it.

I bought my Orange Koni's (non adjustable) from Sam Strano. No more high speed float but the ride is just a little more firm, which i like.

That's a fair price.

Anything around $200 is a decent deal.

Is it nececessary to get an alignment after install? I think $160 a fair price, I was quoted $400 at one place...then again, you said buddy, right? what happened to showing up with a 12 pack and you help drink half of 'em?

I would say anytime you mess with suspension an alignment would be in order

it's absolutely necessary for alignment.

Also, chrissy, ask your friend if he'll do it for a case of beer if you help. It's not a hard mod to do.

One thing though, if you plan on using aftermarket shocks/struts on a 2011, you have to use the FRPP strut mounts. (best price I found when I was shopping for mine was late model restoration for about $100)

Got mine from CJ Pony Parts. Listed at $94.95 though I'm almost certain I got them for $85 a couple weeks back. Free shipping as well.

camber may need a little adjusting but the rest should be ok. At least mine was.
