Shock & strut recommendations?
Ok, I have been trying to read up on this from other posts, but seem to getting more confused as I go on.
First off, need to let you know I do not want to lower the car (although I love the stance and all, just not practical for me)
Having said that, I am looking to improve the handling a bit and really want to get rid of that godddamn nose dive when I brake.
Not looking to go nuts because this thing is an "every other day"ly driver and I want keep the ride comfortable (but better) as possible.
so understanding that the shocks and struts need to play well with the stock springs, what would you recommend and why?
thanks in advance.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that a lot of people will probably tell you to go with Koni STR.Ts. Those are what I ended up getting and were highly recommended by a lot of people. Granted, my car also has lowering springs, but the ride is definitely as good, if not better than stock. The Konis are on sale right now too. Not only did they help the ride, but the handling is definitely better. The car just feels more crisp through the turns, and the back end doesn't feel like it's gonna come out from behind you. The car also seems to launch a lot better with this setup, feels much more planted to the ground.
Sam Strano is the expert here, so hopefully he'll chime in. He's got a great price on the Konis as well: http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbym...199&ModelID=35

Brake dive has more to do with spring rate and suspension geometry than it does damping. The only issue in resolving this is trying to find a stiffer spring that is not shorter than the stock. Your best compromise may be the FRPP spring that has a 1" drop. It is not as aggressive as other springs (for drop) but does increase the stiffness.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually found a great suspension thread with recommendations and feedback from Sam Strano and I think I will go down the STR.T route. Can't justify the Koni yellows for my every day driving (maybe one track day every other year if I'm lucky) so the STR.T's make the most sense.
Think I will also do a Watts link later in the season as well.

While true that dampers don't lessen the amount of dive or roll, they do cut the rates at which those things happen, and when they aren't as suddenly or abrupt that makes folks a whole lot more happy. And it's pretty common that folks find it a big enough change that they call me and say "wow my car doesn't roll anymore" (or dive). Though it's not technically true if the car is more stable and planted and makes it better to drive then that's no bad thing.

Sam. thank you so much for your response and I'll be calling you soon for some Konis.
fyi, this is the extremely informative thread I found: https://themustangsource.com/f800/wh...matter-486829/
