Shipping Codes

OK, 49 days after it was built and sitting at ramp 51, my car was moved to ramp 5P and sat there for 6 days. Today the status was changed to Sent Offsite - Vwdd90 (Autoport Limited)

Anybody know what that code means? The dealer thinks its been put on a truck and could arrive anyday. The ETA still says May 18.

The location still says Autoalliance MI

Sounds to me like they are just moving it around at the plant!

Are you blind? You said the exact same thing on AFM and I told you what that means. I'll repeat it again.

It's not on a truck coming your way. It's being sent offsite for god knows what. Mine has gone back and forth 3 times in 10 days.

I think you are going to want it to say "In Transit" and then list Train info (if it is traveling by Train) or Trucking info (if it is only traveling by Truck). Mine listed the Train info and then the Truck info.

You'll also want to see some other town names for the Vehicle Location.

My ETA was Jun 28 and then changed to Jun 26th. But even that doesn't seem to mean much (but I am hoping since it's been with the Trucking company for over a week and it's only 300 miles away that it can be trusted).

Joker- All I can tell you is that the car is more than worth the wait. The more you stress over it, the worse the wait is going to feel. Waiting sucks. Stressing makes it suck even worse.

Yeah, but I realized I wanted 19" bright machined rims, not the ugly stock ones. Now anything after market is going to cost a fortune and still prolly not look as cool.

And maybe yellow blaze is sexier than candy red...

How did you obtain that information for your car? I'd like to track mine on my own rather than bugging my sales guy.

The "codes" have been speculated to be the parking spot number the car is located in. I sent a few emails to the top of the Ford food chain and got someone from the Ford Exec office assigned to my "case." Most cars look to see 3 offsites before shipping. The third being a final QC before release. I made it to a truck within two days of my third return from offsite. My car is, as of now, at Twin Oaks, PA waiting to be put on a truck and sent to Jeff... Good thing I have a busy weekend to get me through to Tuesday!

How long did your car sit at the third offsite before it was returned?
