Shaker Hood owners/knowers...
It says:
In addition CDC has engineered the Shaker with an advanced water management system to prevent water from entering the engine, making foul-weather driving concerns a thing of the past.
Is there anything I need to do when I wash it? I more use high pressure being it's so hot outside. Do I need to wash it flowing with the scoop? Not directly into it, I mean. Will it just be a common sense thing?

Well if it is no different than the 05-09 version then you will not have an issue. Just check the drain hoses every now and then to make sure they are not plugged (bugs, leaves, etc). Biggest issue I have with the CDC shaker is the rear mounting nut has pretty much broke through the plastic after a few years of use.

I'm guessing, & I'm probably not even close to correct, the visible parts are basically the same. I reckon it has new uh, guts? I'm not good with the real words, sorry! I was hoping it would not use my 5.0 motor cover of a thing. I'd like put that on my wall in my Mustang room. I see, maybe, you just drill holes & reuse it. Oh well.
I am not to the drain holes part, yet. I just looked through directions. I'll try & read them prob tomorrow.
Should I tell the installer about that nut problem?
Thanks a lot!!
